It’s always nice when your team’s owner is fired up and ready to do whatever they can to build a contending team and win.

New York Mets owner Steve Cohen is one of those owners.

He has been very vocal about his intentions to build a winner and make Mets fans happy.

Yesterday, the Mets swept a day-night doubleheader against the San Francisco Giants, improving their record to 9-3 to start the 2022 season.

Following the end of the second game which the Mets won by a final of 3-1, Cohen took to Twitter and expressed his excitement with a perfect tweet to get Mets fans pumped up.

A Man Of The People

Cohen is clearly excited about what his team has and what they are capable of.

This is a team that came into the season with high goals after signing Max Scherzer and trading for Chris Bassitt to beef up their starting rotation.

Even without staff ace Jacob deGrom, the Mets don’t appear to have skipped a beat.

There’s plenty of time left in the season, but Cohen has to like what he’s seeing so far.

And Mets fans should be grateful that they have an owner who is pumped up and invested in making the team a contender.

They have to enjoy seeing Cohen tweet things like this and be excited about the product he has on the field.

There’s a lot to be excited about right now if you’re a fan of the Mets.

It’s been since 2016 that this team reached the postseason and if they keep winning, they’ll be on track to end this rut that they’re in.

Cohen certainly feels confident, and the fans should feel the same way.
