Miles Mikolas has essentially become the ultimate cowboy of Major League Baseball.

The St. Louis Cardinals‘ veteran right-hander is well known for dressing up quite nicely for team flights.

He and the rest of the Cardinals all dressed as cowboys for their flight to Arizona last month.

The Cards are headed out to San Diego to kick off a huge road trip.

Yesterday, as the team boarded their flight, Mikolas flashed somewhat of a different look, but it perfectly captured his personality and his affinity for dressing up.

As he walked towards the plane in a suit and his trademark cowboy hat, Mikolas tipped his hat to the camera.

A Tip Of The Hat

Mikolas is known for being a fun-loving teammate in the Cards’ clubhouse.

Earlier this season, after the Cardinals had been shut out in back-to-back games, Mikolas took the field early and burned a little sage.

Obviously, there are nothing but good vibes around the Cardinals clubhouse right now, as their magic number to clinch the NL Central sits at just seven.

Leave it to Mikolas to keep those good vibes rolling.

His sense of humor has helped the Cardinals stay loose and relaxed, even in the midst of the most important month in the season.

You have to love his outfit for yesterday’s flight, and you’ve got to love the hat tip.

Mikolas sure knows how to keep the Cardinals loose and dressing up in a suit and a cowboy hat is the perfect way to do just that.

Mikolas will start the second game of the Cards three-game set against the San Diego Padres, the team Mikolas made his Major League debut with back in 2012.
