Burnes struggled toward the end of the year and it looks to be bleeding into this year. Another thing to point out is that the conflict between the Brewers and Burnes might have cost him his confidence. He is making mistakes we haven’t seen from him in years, and fans are worried.
The Brewers still have only played six games. It’s very early, and the Brewers are red hot. Corbin Burnes has struggled, but is a veteran and Cy Young Award winner. He has been in this position before and knows how to overcome any slump. But right now, it is also fair to worry about his struggles.
