MLB best bets Sun., 7/17: Glenn Otto and the strikeout watch list

I try to never get serious on here because sports betting is the opposite of serious. It's supposed to be fun. But the situation we have this week is as serious as serious can get. We're talking zero sports from about 7:00 p.m. ET tonight until Thursday afternoon.

It's called the MLB All-Star Break, and it happens every year. I usually use it as a time to figure out what football will look like in the fall, but it's still not easy. We're talking very little to gamble on, which makes me sick. We can go to the moon, but we can't figure out a way to have an array of sports for people to bet on every day of the year. How is that even possible? Still, we shouldn't think about that today. What we should do is figure out how to build a ladder that can reach the moon. It's all we have at this point.

Remember, we need to see AT LEAST five of these batters in these lineups when they are released. If that happens, get ready to fire away. If we don't see at least five of these names in each lineup, walk away. We'll find something better. Don't forget to be somebody today.
