MLB best bets: Wiesguy's 2 Picks and a Prop for 6/7

A 3-0 record last night, confirming that I have at least some skill in this game. I am loving playing the pitching market with props. There is less leeway than with sides (see Manoah on Monday) but there are good payoffs to be had (another one below).

The Angels and White Sox came through last night but those are not teams I want to get too cozy with. They are not on the card tonight.

For Wednesday, we have close to a full slate of games to choose from. Just a couple of afternoon tilts were lost.

Bet Tracking

Favorite Picks: 13-11 (-6.6 Units)
Underdog Pick: 11-13 (+8 Units)

Prop Pick: 11-13 (-9 Units)

Winning Days: 12 of 24

In Review: Tuesday, June 6

Los Angeles Angels -120 (win)
A big inning powered the Angels to a win.

Chicago White Sox +125 (win)
Lucas Giolioto was sharp in the road win and the Sox hung on to it late.

Shane Bieber Under 17.5 Outs +135 (win)
The Biebs is just not what he has been in the past.

MLB Picks for Wednesday, June 7

Favorite
Toronto Blue Jays -150 (vs. Houston Astros)

Toronto got a big win last night behind an electric performance from Kevin Gausman. Tonight they should have another mound advantage in Ronel Blanco vs. Chris Bassitt. Playing at home they should be able to win again. Bassitt has a winning record against Houston lifetime, which is pretty impressive given it was primarily accomplished with bad Oakland teams behind him. Toronto hit three homers last night.

Underdog
Colorado Rockies +180 (vs. San Francisco Giants)

The Giants are a .500 team and under that on the road. With starter Logan Webb on the mound, there is no reason the. should be such prohibitive favorites at Colorado, where Webb has a career ERA close to 5. Of course that means relying on a guy named Connor Seabold to pitch well enough for the Rox, but that is why you get that strong payoff.

Prop
Corbin Burnes Over 7.5 Strikeouts +145

Burnes is not having the season he did a year ago. Nevertheless, he can still make batters miss this season and has seven and eight Ks in his last two outings. This one is all about the payoff. Baltimore is a young team and does not have much experience against Burnes. His one previous start against the O's was seven innings, zero runs allowed, and eight Ks. This one is worth the risk.
