MLB best Home Run bets: 3 home run props for Monday 6/19
We're going through a bit of a dry spell in home run props, but it only takes one winner in this market to get back on track. Here are my three favorite players to hit a home run Monday night.
Rafael Devers +400 (FD)
Rafael Devers ranks eighth in MLB in home runs this season (17), and he's hit 12 of them off right-handed pitching. Minnesota Twins starter Pablo Lopez has surrendered 11 homers in 14 starts this season, so this feels like a good spot for Devers to crack his fifth homer in nine games.
Spencer Steer +450 (DK)
Colorado Rockies starter Austin Gomber has been a good fade in the home run market all season. Only four pitchers in MLB have given up more homers than Gomber (16), so he might be in trouble Monday night against a red-hot Cincinnati Reds lineup. Spencer Steer leads the Reds in home runs (10) and home runs off lefties (four) this year, so this is more than a fair price.
Nick Maton +750 (FD)
If you haven't been fading Jordan Lyles all season, it's not too late to start. The Kansas City Royals starter is 0-11 with a 6.89 ERA, and he's given up the second-most home runs (18) in MLB this season. There's a good chance Lyles allows at least one homer against the Detroit Tigers Monday night, so I'm going value hunting with Nick Maton, who leads the team in home runs against righties (six) this year.
