MLB fans always enjoy when the World Series stretches into November.

The first time it took place was in 2001, when Derek Jeter hit his famous “Mr. November” home run.

But usually, it’s something incredibly rare to see.

More often than not, the World Series either doesn’t stretch into November, or when it does, it’s only a game or two, maybe three games at most.

But thanks to the rainout of Game 3 Monday night, MLB will be making some World Series history.

For the first time in World Series play, more games will have taken place in the month of November than in the month of October.

November Baseball

This is something that has never happened before.

Even if the World Series ends in five games, the series will have featured more games in November than in October.

It’s incredibly rare to begin with that a World Series stretches into November.

If the series goes beyond five games, it will mark the first time that four or more November games will take place in the World Series.

If it goes seven, then we will have five November World Series games.

There’s nothing bad about having more baseball games each year or a World Series that stretches into November.

It just means there’s more time to watch the game we all know and love.

When you look at it from that perspective, there’s really nothing not to love.
