MLB no-home run parlay Sun., 7/17: Should you fade Willy Adames, Tommy Pham and more?
Since today is the last day of baseball until the All-Star Break, I wanted to whip up a nice no-home run parlay for all of you. I feel like I owe everyone a nice winner on the no-home run parlay!
MLB No-Home Run Parlay
Tommy Pham
The first player we are fading here comes in the form of Tommy Pham. Pham has not hit for power this season, and I believe that trend continues this afternoon. We are getting a decent line here for the parlay since he is seeing a lefty in this game. I will fade that Pham puts one out in this game.
David Bote
Second, we will be fading Cubs infielder David Bote. Bote has really struggled this season, especially from a power standpoint. He also hits at the back end of the Cubs lineup and should have fairly limited opportunities to get a home run today. I love the fade spot for Bote here.
Willy Adames
Third, we are looking at Willy Adames. Adames has pop in his swing, but he will be facing Logan Webb this afternoon, who is one of the best arms in the game. Webb is a tough guy to take deep, and I think he eats up a lot of innings this afternoon and makes life tough on these right-handed hitters. This should be a good fade spot of Adames.
David Peralta
Next, I am fading David Peralta of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Peralta has just eleven home runs this season, and I think Clevinger will have a solid outing on Sunday afternoon.
Aledmys Diaz
The final player to bring us home on the no-home run parlay will be Aledmys Diaz. Diaz is a solid hitter, but he is not a guy that typically hits for a ton of power. He has just six home runs, and we are getting a decent line here that I could not pass up. Let’s cash this in and cruise into the All-Star break!
