Mookie Betts jokes with Padres' Juan Soto: 'Let me have your eyes, I'll give you my bat'

Los Angeles Dodgers star OF Mookie Betts had a little fun as his club took on the San Diego Padres on Sunday Night Baseball.

Mic'd up, Betts took the opportunity to joke around with Padres star outfielder Juan Soto in the most heartwarming way possible.

"Can I have your eyes?" Betts said as he approached Soto between innings.

"I need you to show me how to hit!" Soto replied with a laugh.

"Let me have your eyes, I'll give you my bat," Betts responded before the two went their separate ways.

Betts' cheerful mood rubbed off at the plate on Sunday night. The 29-year-old finished the night 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 9-4 victory by the Dodgers over the Padres.

The six-time All-Star has 33 home runs and 74 RBI in 115 games while slashing .282/.351/.571 for the Dodgers this season.

Los Angeles owns the best record in MLB at 92-41. They lead the NL West division by 19 games over the second-place Padres (74-61).
