There may have been another "accidental" announcement regarding new players coming to MLB The Show 23, including Mets' legend David Wright.

Fans of MLB The Show have been buzzing ever since earlier last week when San Diego Studios might have announced the surprise return of Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire without actually announcing it.

Now, it appears we have another “accidental announcement” of new legends coming to the game.

On Sunday, YouTube user Noah Lawrence released a video of what appears to be someone playing MLB The Show 23. It’s unclear whether or not the player is a game developer or a lucky fan with early access, but the video (which has now been removed due to a copyright claim by Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC) shows the player looking at a list of current all-time home run leaders on a team:

Fans have already been teased with Sosa and McGwire, but it looks like David Wright, Ryan Braun, Raul Ibanez, Kyle Seager, and Alex Gordon are returning to MLB The Show in 2023. I’m not saying I called it, but I did suggest Wright should be added to MLB The Show 23 back in February.

San Diego Studios hasn't made any of the aforementioned leaks official just yet. Perhaps they’re just waiting until the March 28 release date (March 24 for preorders) to surprise everyone. Either way, the more I’m teased with all these new players being added to MLB The Show 23, the more I need March 24 to hurry up and get here.
