Heading into the offseason, the Minnesota Twins have lost Jose de Leon, Jordan Luplow and Andrew Stevenson to free agency.

All three were outrighted to the minor leagues and all three have elected free agency in order to search for other opportunities.

Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com had the information on social media:

José De León, Andrew Stevenson and Jordan Luplow were outrighted off the #MNTwins roster and have elected free agency.

Luplow is the most accomplished of the bunch at the Major League level. He has appeared in the majors in seven different seasons with the Pirates, Guardians, Rays, Diamondbacks, Blue Jays and Twins.

He split time with Toronto and Minnesota this year, playing 39 total games in the big leagues. With the Twins, he appeared in 32 games, hitting .206 with four RBI. He also stole two bases. He's a former third-round pick of the Pirates (2014).

Stevenson has appeared in the majors in six different seasons. He's played with the Nationals and Twins, appearing for Minnesota just in 2023. He is a .243 lifetime hitter with eight home runs and 50 RBI.

De Leon has made 34 appearances on the mound during his career, which has spanned six different major league seasons. He debuted in 2016 with the Dodgers and then moved to the Rays, Reds and Twins. He's 4-2 lifetime with a 7.44 ERA. He's made seven career starts and is 31-years old.

The Twins won the American League Central this year and then toppled the Toronto Blue Jays in the wild card round.

They were beaten by the Houston Astros in the ALDS.
