The San Diego Padres could fly home from Seoul on Thursday with a win under their belts.

Their 15-11 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Gocheok Sky Dome was a rare offensive outburst featuring 17 hits. Jake Cronenworth had four, including a two-run triple in the first inning against Yoshinobu Yamamoto (0-1). Manny Machado hit the Padres' first home run of the season.

Starting pitcher Joe Musgrove allowed seven hits and five runs in 2.2 innings, but got more than enough run support from his teammates. Michael King (1-0) allowed three runs in 3.1 innings in relief to earn the win.

The Padres (1-1) have another seven days before playing a game that counts in the standings.
