The Philadelphia Phillies have released their 2024 television schedule for their spring training games in February and March.

The television designations accompany the schedule and games times that were previously set.

The Phillies will have 13 spring training games on local television on either NBC Sports Philadelphia or NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus. All televised games will start at 1:05 p.m. eastern.

The Phillies will report to their spring training facility at BayCare Ballpark and Carpenter Complex. in Clearwater, Fla., with pitchers and catchers set to report on Feb. 14 and the first full-squad workout set for Feb. 19. The opening spring game, which is not televised, is set for Feb. 24 at Toronto.

The first televised game will be Feb. 25 against the New York Yankees.

The Phillies are coming off a 2023 season in which they won 90 games, finished second to Atlanta in the NL East and claimed the top Wild Card berth. The Phillies defeated Miami in two games in the NL Wild Card series and then beat Atlanta in four games in the NL Division Series before they fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks in a seven-game NLCS.

That loss prevented the Phillies from making back-to-back trips to the World Series. The Phillies reached the World Series in 2022 but lost to the Houston Astros.

In the offseason, the Phillies made one huge signing, as they retained starting pitcher Aaron Nola on a seven-year, $172 million deal. The Phillies made an overture to free-agent Japanese pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, but he signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Since, the Phillies haven’t made many other moves. The Phillies did sign pitcher Kolby Allard to a one-year deal, giving them more depth in their starting rotation. The Phillies lost Craig Kimbrel in free agency to Baltimore. First baseman Rhys Hoskins signed with Milwaukee after the Phillies decided to make Bryce Harper their starting first baseman.
