Aidan Miller was born in Dunedin, Florida, on June 9, 2004. He played high school baseball at J.W. Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, FL. He was the second-ranked shortstop and the second-overall player in Florida in 2022. In high school he played in 62 games and hit .385 with a .508 OBP, he had 15 doubles, seven triples, eight home runs, 47 RBI, and 77 runs scored. On the mound he made 16 appearances going 2-0 with a 1.01 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 27.2 innings. Miller was the second-ranked shortstop nationally and the sixth overall player. He committed to play college baseball at the University of Arkansas.

Miller was the 13th-ranked prospect entering the 2023 draft and the sixth high school prospect. He was taken by the Philadelphia Phillies with the 27 th overall pick.

Miller’s first season with the Phillies organization he played for their rookie league team and Single-A Clearwater. He played in 20 games and slashed .303/.425/.379 with a .804 OPS; he had three doubles, a triple, two RBI, ten runs scored, four stolen bases, and 12 walks.
