He also played in the Venezuelan Winter League for Zulia, and in 12 games, he slashed .204/.250/.286 with a .536 OPS; he had one double, one home run, five RBI, four runs scored, and three walks.

Chourio played for Single-A Carolina, High-A Wisconsin, and Double-A Biloxi, playing in 99 games; he slashed .288/.342/.538 with a .879 OPS; he had 30 doubles, five triples, 20 home runs, 75 RBI, 75 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, and 32 walks. He played in the Venezuelan Winter League with Zulia again in the Winter.
