Jacob Misiorowski was born in Blue Spring, Missouri on April 3rd, 2002. He played high school baseball at Grain Valley High School in Grain Valley, MO. He was Missouri’s sixth-ranked RHP and the 13th overall-ranked player in 2020. At Grain Valley in his Junior year, he had a record of 9-2 with a 1.48 ERA which landed him an All-State Award. Like many other players during this span, his senior season was canceled due to COVID. Misiorowski was ranked the 255th RHP nationally and in the top 500 overall for high school players. He initially committed to play college ball at Oklahoma State University but changed his mind and enrolled at Crowder Junior College.

Jacob appeared in 15 games as a Freshman at Crowder Junior College going 10-0 with a 2.72 ERA, a 1.25 WHIP, and 136 strikeouts in 76 innings before they decided to Redshirt him for the season. After his Freshman year, he decided to transfer to Louisiana State for his final three years of College eligibility, but before he played at LSU he attended the Major League Baseball combine and while there he recorded eight of the fastest pitches with an average of 99.8 miles per hour on his fastball.

Misirowski was the 78th ranked prospect entering the 2022 draft and he would be selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round; he signed a 2.35 million dollar signing bonus which was the highest handed out for that draft class by the Brewers that year.

2022
Misiorowski played his first professional season with Single-A Carolina where he made two starts going 0-0 with a 5.40 ERA, a 4.80 WHIP, and three strikeouts in 1.2 innings.
2023
In his second season with the Brewer organization, he spent time with Single-A Carolina, High-A Wisconsin, and Double-A Biloxi. he made 20 starts going 4-2 with a 3.41 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and 110 strikeouts in 71.1 innings. He also played in the Futures Game going one inning giving up one hit and striking out three.
Future
ITD ranks Misiorowski as their 39th overall ranked prospect entering 2024 and the Brewers third-ranked prospect. He will most likely start the year in Double-A, but look for him to move up quickly if he gets his walks under control. He has the stuff that if he can get the walks in check to be a future ace. The 6 foot 7 power arm is what this team needs to lead its rotation in the upcoming seasons.
