USA TODAY Sports

Here we go again, just like last time I am about to jinx another relief pitcher. This time it's Raisel Iglesias. Iglesias has been on fire for the past two months. In July, he posted a 0-2 record with a 2.00 ERA and in August, he has appeared in 10 games and has yet to give up a run.

He has done this after having one of his worst months as a member of the Braves in June. He was 2-0 but he had a 4.85 ERA. His season ERA ballooned from 3.38 to 4.37 in that month alone. His first month of the season was not a great one either as he was 1-2 with a 3.72 ERA.

Iglesias seems to be on the same projection as A.J. Minter. He is getting hot at the right time of the year. The Braves are closing in on another division title and hopefully another run at a World Series. The Braves will need him to be at his best to get there.

The last time Iglesias gave up a run was on July 18th against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He gave up three hits and 3 runs (2 earned runs) in only 0.1 innings. In the 14 games since then, He has given up seven total hits, struck out 21 hitters, walked three hitters, and has given up zero runs. Opposing hitters are hitting .171 with a 0.80 Whip in August alone.

I'm sure now that I have mentioned how great he is doing, he will blow a save. Hey, at least he will get it out of his system before the playoffs!
