The Reds selected Rhett Lowder with the No. 7 pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. He's already one of the top right-handers in the minor leagues.

Lowder was ranked sixth in MLB Pipeline's top 10 list of right-handed pitchers in the minor leagues.

Only Paul Skenes, Pirates (2024), Jackson Jobe, Cade Horton, Andrew Painter, Phillies and Jacob Misiorowski were ahead of Lowder.

The 21-year-old posted a 1.87 ERA at Wake Forest last season, making 19 starts and pitching 120 1/3 innings.
