Reds' Trevor Bauer mocks commissioner Rob Manfred: 'At least he got something right'

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Trevor Bauer has remained outspoken as negotiations waged on between MLB owners and the MLB Players Association to start the 2020 season amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Bauer called a return-to-play proposal from owners that offered a revenue share instead of prorated salaries "laughable." He ripped agent Scott Boras for getting involved in "union business." Bauer also traded jabs with former pitcher Kyle Lohse on Twitter

Throughout the ordeal, however, Bauer has remained confident there will be some sort of pandemic-shortened campaign over the summer. Thus, it shouldn't be too surprising he agreed when commissioner Rob Manfred told MLB Network on Wednesday he's "100 percent" convinced big league baseball will happen this year. 

Bauer did, however, use the opportunity to tweet a sarcastic reply to the executive:
