The San Diego Padres are in agreement with free agent reliever Wandy Peralta on a four-year, $16.5 million contract, The Athletic reported Wednesday.

The deal with the 32-year-old left-hander includes three opt-outs and is pending the results of a physical, per the report.

Peralta went 4-2 with a 2.83 ERA and four saves in 63 appearances out of the New York Yankees' bullpen in 2023. He struck out 51 batters, walked 30 and allowed seven home runs in 54 innings.

He owns a 19-18 career record with a 3.88 ERA and 13 saves across 385 games (one start) with the Cincinnati Reds (2016-19), San Francisco Giants (2019-21) and Yankees (2021-23).
