Report: Ryan Yarbrough loses arbitration case against Rays

Ryan Yarbrough has lost his arbitration case against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. He'll earn $2.3 million in 2021 instead of the $3.1 million he filed for. 

Yarbrough has spent his entire three-year career with the Rays. Last season, he went 1-4 with a 3.56 ERA, 1.186 WHIP and 44 strikeouts in 55.2 innings. The 29-year-old was 1-0 in the postseason with a 3.68 ERA and seven strikeouts in 14.2 innings. 

He'll remain in a rotation that includes Tyler Glasnow, Chris Archer, Michael Wacha and Josh Fleming.
