The Colorado Rockies placed right-hander Ryan Feltner on the 15-day injured list Sunday with what the team labeled as a fractured skull.

Feltner was struck in the head by a line drive from Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos during the second inning of Saturday's game in Denver. He was able to walk off the field and was replaced by Peter Lambert.

Per AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, Rockies manager Bud Black said that Feltner remained hospitalized Sunday morning but was expected to be discharged later in the day.

Feltner, 26, was charged with the loss on Saturday after giving up four runs on four hits and four walks in 1 2/3 innings. He fell to 2-3 with a 5.86 ERA in eight games (all starts) this season.

Also on Sunday, the Rockies recalled right-hander Riley Pint from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Pint, 25, has yet to make his major-league debut since being selected as the team's first-round pick at No. 4 overall in 2016.

Pint is 0-1 with a 7.41 ERA in 13 relief appearances with the Isotopes this season. He owns a 6-23 record with a 5.49 ERA in 122 career appearances (40 starts) in the minor leagues.
