Royals reliever Trevor Rosenthal 'one of hottest names on trade market'?
It remains to be seen whether or not the Kansas City Royals will be willing to part ways with Trevor Rosenthal, but regardless, he's been a popular name on the trade market.
According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, Rosenthal has been "one of the hottest names on the trade market," and multiple teams have checked in on his availability.
There's been no word on which teams are interested in Rosenthal, though the Miami Marlins could be in the market for the reliever as their bullpen has been pretty depleted following the organization's coronavirus outbreak.
Rosenthal has pitched 10.1 innings this season, earning six saves, a stellar 0.87 ERA, 14 strikeouts and 0.871 WHIP. It's the 30-year-old's best season to date in the majors.
Rosenthal spent time with the St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers and Washington Nationals before joining the Royals.
