Steven Kwan is one of many young players who have burst onto the scene for the Cleveland Guardians this season.

He cracked the Opening Day roster and emerged as Cleveland’s leadoff hitter, starting his career with an incredible streak of not striking out or even swinging and missing at a pitch.

But beyond his play, he’s turning into a fan favorite in Cleveland.

Kwan hit a home run yesterday against the Detroit Tigers, which was caught by a Guardians fan in attendance.

Kwan did a good deed at the end of the game, meeting the Guardians fan and signing the baseball.

Kwan Becomes Fan Favorite

It didn’t take long for Kwan to endear himself to the Guardians and their fanbase.

Not only has he turned into a solid leadoff hitter, but he’s also one heck of a nice guy who took time out of his day to give a fan an experience he’ll never forget.

First, the fan had a dream come true when he caught the home run ball, but Kwan made it that much sweeter when he came back to sign the ball.

It’s no secret why everybody in Cleveland loves this guy.

He has quickly turned into a fan favorite on a team that has surprised a lot of people with their success this year.

The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting for an even .300 with three homers and 29 RBI for the Guardians this season.

There’s a lot to love about Kwan if you’re a fan of the Guardians.

This fan certainly has a reason to love him, as he framed this experience as his best fan experience.

It’s always fun for fans to get a signed ball from a player, and Kwan made this young fan’s day yesterday.
