The Reds beat the Guardians 5-3 on Sunday afternoon.

This game was headlined by the return of Matt McLain and Nick Lodolo, as they both made their spring training debut. Here's the good, bad and ugly from Sunday's win:

The Good

The first thing that comes to mind is the two-inning performance from Lodolo.

Lodolo didn't give up a hit or issue a walk in two innings and also had a strikeout. The Reds' pitching staff played well and they were on the receiving end of some help frm the infield. The Reds turned multiple double plays to get out of some tough spots.

Tyler Stephenson and Jonathan India both hit a home run.

The Bad

The Reds allowed 10 hits on the day. That allowed Cleveland to hang around. That was the major issue on Sunday, outside of that they played a clean game.

The Ugly

The performance of Justin Bruihl and Peyton Gray left something to be desired. hey got themselves in a jam that required a double-play in each of the innings they pitched.
