The 'MLB yearly hits leaders since 2000' quiz

It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Dodgers are stacked , but the lineup is about to get even scarier. After hitting the injured list due to an ankle injury suffered in the shower of all places, Freddie Freeman is expected to return on Friday for the series against the Chicago Cubs. Freeman has played just three games so far this season, but the Dodgers are still off to a 10-4 start to their title defense mostly without the 2024 World Series MVP. But manager Dave Roberts said Freeman’s live batting practices and running drills look good enough to get him back into the lineup.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Freeman has been one of the steadiest hitters (for power and contact) in MLB over the course of his career. With that being said, how many of the players to lead MLB in hits for the season since 2000 can you name?

Good luck!
