It was Thursday, October 2, 2008. The Philadelphia Phillies were set to take on the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 2 of the National League Division Series at Citizens Bank Park.

After jumping to a 1-0 series lead the night before, the Phillies were eager to keep the momentum rolling, and Shane Victorino led the way.

Philadelphia was facing Milwaukee ace CC Sabathia, who was acquired at the trade deadline by the Brewers. He was excellent for them in the second-half, propelling them to the NL Wild Card berth.

However, none of that mattered to Victorino when he launched a grand slam to left field off of Sabathia in the second inning to put the Phils up 5-1.

The crowd at Citizens Bank Park absolutely erupted. It was truly a magical moment.

The grand slam and a Pedro Feliz RBI-double would be all the Phillies would need to win Game 2. The offense was backed by a strong performance from Brett Myers, who went seven innings, and allowed just two runs on two hits.

Ryan Madson and J.C. Romero pitched a clean eighth, and Brad Lidge remained perfect and picked up his second save of the postseason. Phillies fans were happy. It was nice.
