Trevor Bauer uses leaked phone number for giveaway
Trevor Bauer had his phone number leaked by ESPN during a Korean Baseball Organization broadcast on Sunday, but that didn't cause him to immediately change it or deactivate his phone.
The Cincinnati Reds pitcher is giving away a pair of signed cleats and an autographed baseball with details about the giveaway being found on his voicemail.
It's surprising that Bauer didn't immediately change his phone number, especially after receiving multiple death threats via social media over the last week or so.
Bauer spent seven years with the Cleveland Indians before being traded to the Reds last season. He went 11-13 with a 4.48 ERA, 1.249 WHIP and 253 strikeouts in 2019.
While he isn't one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball, Bauer was an All-Star in 2018 and came in sixth in Cy Young voting.
