Minnesota Twins infielder Kyle Farmer Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota Twins infielder Kyle Farmer is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to trying to end his ongoing batting slump.

Bally Sports North reporter Audra Martin highlighted Farmer’s recent efforts to reverse his recent hitless streak. According to her, Farmer has tried pretty much every trick in the book, including showering in his uniform to try to wash off the bad mojo. He is even open to shaving his head if it would help, though he has yet to actually do it.

Entering Thursday’s game against the Chicago White Sox, Farmer was just 3-for-45 on the season, which comes out to an .067 batting average. He did not get a plate appearance on Thursday, entering the contest as a defensive replacement in what finished as a 6-3 Twins victory.

When players are in bad slumps, they will do just about anything to try to get out of them. Farmer might have to go with the shaving route. If it works, it will be worth the cost.
