Watch: Aaron Judge destroys L.A. pitching and Dodger Stadium in Yankees' win

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge came to Los Angeles to do damage, and he did so in more ways than one during a 6-3 win Saturday against the Dodgers.

After homering earlier in the game, Judge made an impact with his glove, crashing through the right-field fence at Dodger Stadium to make a running catch in the eighth.

With the Yankees nursing a 5-3 advantage, Judge's massive grab avoided potential disaster in the inning and maybe saved the game for New York.

After the Yankees' win, Judge found humor in his miraculous catch, telling Fox Sports Ken Rosenthal, "They gotta make a stronger fence out there."

In the sixth inning, Judge recorded his 19th home run of the season, smashing a line drive over the left-field fence off Dodgers reliever Shelby Miller.

The 31-year-old is third in the Majors in home runs, trailing only New York Mets' Pete Alonso, who has 20.

Quietly performing at a similar pace to last year's historic run, Judge attributed his success at the plate to having a more selective eye, calling it the "biggest thing."

"When I get in trouble, it's when I start swinging at, you know, the pitcher's pitch," Judge said. "If I can hone it in and get pitches I can drive, especially with the lineup we have — I can just get pitches to hit. If I don't, get on first base and let them work."

Judge is off to a good start in June after earning Player of the Month honors in May. Last month, Judge batted .342 with 12 homer runs, 25 RBI and an OPS of 1.356.
