Is there anything Aaron Judge can't do?

While the New York Yankees All-Star slugger didn't tally historic home run No. 61 Thursday night against the Boston Red Sox, he did find another way to wow the Yankee Stadium crowd.

With the Yankees and Red Sox tied 4-4 in the top of the ninth inning, Judge turned a surefire extra-base hit into another play to add to his highlight reel.

Red Sox left fielder Tommy Pham drove an 0-2 pitch from Yankees' reliever Clay hard off the right-field wall and seemed destined to lead off the inning with a double. However, Judge had other plans.

Judge fielded the ball and fired a strike to second base, nailing Pham for the first out of the inning.

According to Seth Rothman of the YES Network, Judge's throw clocked in at 92.3 MPH and was his 14th-fastest throw of 2022.

Judge's outfield assist helped keep the game tied, setting the stage for Josh Donaldson's walk-off single in the bottom half of the ninth, lifting the Yankees to a 5-4 win.

Much to the chagrin of Yankees fans, Red Sox pitchers approached Judge carefully throughout his five plate appearances. While Judge went 0-for-2, he earned three of the Yankees' seven walks on the night.

Judge and the Yankees improved to 91-58 on the year, notching their fourth victory in a row. The Yankees have already clinched a playoff berth and currently lead the AL East by 7.5 games over the second-place Toronto Blue Jays.
