Watch: Blue Jays' George Springer carted off after scary outfield collision with Bo Bichette

Things may have just taken a turn for the worse this postseason for the Toronto Blue Jays

After left fielder Whit Merrifield was hit in the head with a pitch in the fifth inning, exiting the game, the Blue Jays lost another outfielder to injury just a few innings later.

In the eighth, centerfielder George Springer collided with shortstop Bo Bichette as the two closed in on a shallow pop-fly behind the second base bag. Springer appeared to take the worst of it, immediately grabbing the top of his head upon impact.

Bichette stayed in the game, but Springer had to be carted off the field.

Despite looking dazed, Springer took time to pump up the crowd as he exited the game.
