Watch: Brock Holt roasted by son after being DFA'd by Brewers

Brock Holt was designated for assignment by the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, and his son Griffin took the chance to roast him about it. "That didn't take long," Griffin said to Holt, bursting out in laughter in a video posted by the utility man to his Instagram story, which was shared by Barstool's Steve Perrault:

Holt was DFA'd by Milwaukee after starting the season in a slump, going 3-for-30 at the plate. During the 2020 campaign, Holt struck out on 25 percent of his at-bats and scored just one run.

The 32-year-old signed a one-year, $3.25 million deal with the Brewers during the offseason after spending seven seasons with the Boston Red Sox.

In a corresponding move, the Brewers added Jace Peterson from the team's alternate training site.
