Watch: Oscar Gonzalez sends Guardians to ALDS with 15th inning HR, breaking scoreless tie

The Cleveland Guardians are on their way to the ALDS after sweeping the Tampa Bay Rays in the wild card round, ending the series on a 15th inning walk off home run by Oscar Gonzalez, giving them a 1-0 win on Saturday.

Gonzalez's home run ended what was an absolutely incredible pitcher's duel that saw both teams be held off the scoreboard and limited to just 10 total hits (all singles) through the first 14 innings.

Here is a look at Gonzalez's home run, along with his incredible bat flip to celebrate. This led off the bottom of the 15th inning.

The game also featured the two teams combining for 39 strikeouts (20 by the Guardians; 19 by the Rays) and only eight walks (three for the Guardians; five for the Rays) and 16 pitchers being used.
Cleveland's Sam Hentges gets the win, while Tampa Bay's Corey Kluber takes the loss.
The Rays' season is now over while the Guardians will advance to face the New York Yankees in the ALDS starting on Monday at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The start time for that game is still to be determined.
