Watch: Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber crushes 461-foot HR, setting NLCS record

Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber continues to smash the baseball out of the park at a historic rate.

Schwarber crushed a 461-foot bomb off Arizona Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series on Saturday. It's Schwarber's 11th career home run in the NLCS, the most ever.

The mammoth shot also helped Schwarber reach 20 playoff homers in only 63 games. According to Sarah Langs of MLB.com, Schwarber is the fastest player to hit 20 long balls in postseason history, passing Houston Astros star Jose Altuve (68).

In this year's playoff alone, Schwarber has five home runs and six RBI over 11 games.

A batter after Schwarber went yard, Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper did the same, rocketing a 3-2 pitch from Gallen 444 feet into the centerfield stands.

Schwarber and Harper now have 11 postseason homers apiece as Phillies, tying former outfielder Jayson Werth for the franchise lead. They both reached 11 long balls in Phillies uniforms over only 28 games, while it took Werth 40 to achieve the same number.
