Watch: Savannah Bananas outfielder makes incredible trick catch

Acrobatic catches aren't necessarily a new thing in baseball (see: Mays, Willie), but as today's athletes get quicker, stronger, more agile and all-around more athletic, we're going to see more and more amazing feats in the outfield.

Try as they may, though, perhaps no catch will beat this backflip catch pulled off by a member of the Savannah Bananas. It may have come in a league in which fun-times and silliness are more important than the actual fundamentals of baseball -- but this catch is truly spectacular no matter the level. Most MLB players wouldn't even be able to pull it off.

The Bananas are known for doing some outlandish things on the baseball diamond. From a guy playing on stilts to throwing to a batter holding a flaming bat -- "banana ball" is often a sight to see. Even Johnny Damon recently got involved in the action.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a viral banana ball moment better than this one, but the most shocking thing about it? This wasn't even the first time this outfielder had made a catch like that.

Talk about being a specialist.
