The expression "worth its weight in gold" has seldom been more applicable.

The Texas Rangers revealed the first look of their gold-trimmed World Series championship jerseys , and it's a good bet they are going to sell out faster than a Corey Seager line-drive homer.

In a series of social media posts, the Rangers revealed the uniforms, featuring images of their star players posing together and separately, with the Commissioner's Trophy displayed prominently in some.

The Rangers say their "Gold Collection" will be available to fans at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field on March 21. The Rangers host the Boston Red Sox for two final spring training games on March 25-26 before hosting the Chicago Cubs on Opening Day on March 28.

In one of the promotional images, nearly the entire starting lineup from the Rangers' World Series Game 5-clinching win is posing in the new uniforms: first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, second baseman Marcus Semien, shortstop Corey Seager, third baseman Josh Jung, catcher Jonah Heim, Game 5 winning pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, and outfielders Adolis Garcia and Evan Carter. Center fielder Leody Taveras is the only one missing. The eight players are standing, sitting, and crouching around the Commissioner's Trophy, sitting atop a pedestal.

The gold trim is subtle on the jersey but adds a definite flare to the "Rangers" logo across the chest. The gold trim is interlaced between the blue of the letters and a red outline. The blue cap is more straightforward, with a shiny gold Texas "T" replacing the typical white "T."
