The New York Yankees are bolstering their pitching depth.

On Wednesday, the Yankees brought back left-handed pitcher Tanner Tully on a minor league deal, per Baseball America.

It is unclear whether Tully will receive an invite to big-league spring training camp.

This is the second straight year that the Yankees have signed Tully to a minor league contract.

Last season, Tully made 19 starts at the Triple-A level with a 5.64 ERA. The southpaw was released in August and then proceeded to join the KBO, where he posted a 2.92 ERA in 11 starts to finish the year.

Tully has mainly profiled as a ground ball pitcher, who doesn't strikeout many batters. He has just six innings of big-league experience, which came with the Cleveland Guardians in 2022.

Tully, 29, will likely spend the majority, if not all of the 2024 season at Triple-A for the Yankees, but he will be there as depth in case he is needed at the big-league level at some point.
