The New York Yankees might be making more moves than just adding Juan Soto this offseason. While the addition might not be a player, it's something that Yankees fans want to see.

According to Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch, New York's changing their road uniforms.

Lukas notes that the Yankees' road uniforms have featured white outlining on the chest lettering and back number. There was also a decorative trim on the sleeve cuffs. They were both added in 1973, per Lukas, but will be removed this season.

This would be another uniform that's bland, but historic, a constant tradition for this franchise. In the team's history, that's exactly what they've done every year, no matter the uniform.

Fans haven't been too happy with what the team has done with uniforms in the past year.

When the Yankees added an advertising patch to their jersey, it caused an uproar. If the front office wants to stick to its old ways and not allow players to have facial hair and follow other rules, it's fair for the fans to be upset when they change things.

The advertising patch was a massive change to a historic jersey.

Fans have begged for City Connect uniforms and Hal Steinbrenner has shut those questions down in the past. With nearly every other team having one, New York needs to join the party soon.

Not only could it be a positive for younger fans, but it gives them some flare for the first time in a very long time.
