The New York Yankees likely will make another move shortly.

New York has been extremely active this offseason and is nearing the end of its major moves this offseason but still needs to address the bullpen.

Two important Yankees' hurlers from last season currently are free agents in Wandy Peralta and Keynan Middleton. New York had the best bullpen in baseball last season but could lose some important relievers.

The Yankees have been linked to multiple free-agent options -- including Peralta and Middleton -- to help bolster the bullpen. Another player who has popped up is former Houston Astros hurler Héctor Neris.

While this is the case, it sounds like New York won't end up landing Neris, according to YES Network's Jack Curry.

"Héctor Neris is a name that is out there on the market and the Yankees have been tied to him through several reports," Curry said. "Now I have been told not to expect a partnership between the two of them but all it takes is one text or one phone call or someone taking whatever their demand was and lowering it. Or someone taking whatever their offer was and heightening it. But, I think they are pushing more towards a (Wandy Peralta) or (Keynan Middleton) reuniting."

Neris would be a very solid pickup for the Yankees, but it doesn't sound like a signing is a possibility at this point. A reunion with Peralta or Middleton seems to be a much more likely move.

Don't be surprised if the Yankees make a move very soon.
