New York Yankees left fielder Andrew Benintendi exited Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg, Fla. with a right wrist injury and was headed for an X-ray.

Benintendi swung and missed at a sinker by Jeffrey Springs with two on and one out in the third and immediately began shaking his hand. He headed back to the dugout and slammed the bat in the bat rack out of frustration.

Rookie Oswaldo Cabrera replaced Benintendi and completed the at-bat. Cabrera then moved to right field, Aaron Judge shifted from right to center and Aaron Hicks moved from center to left field.

Acquired from the Kansas City Royals on July 27, Benintendi is hitting .246 with two home runs and 12 RBIs in 33 games with the Yankees. He batted .320 with three homers and 39 RBIs in 93 games before the trade.
