Brewers to add field-level seats, other upgrades, to stadium
The Wisconsin and Stanford men's basketball teams play during the first half of their game at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wis. MARK HOFFMAN/MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL / USA TODAY NETWORK

A few years ago the Milwaukee Brewers re-branded the stadium to American Family Field. They also added in new concessions and a craft beer bar. Change is constantly happening around the stadium and recently they received news that more upgrades are coming. Up next is a new audio system and seats at the field level.

These changes are made possible by the Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball District board’s approved budget. Budget varies from year-to-year and dictates what upgrades the Brewers can perform.

Per the article published in the Milwaukee Business Journal, these changes are taking place this offseason.

American Family Field is over 20 years old already and these changes should improve fan experience. The improved seating will also help preserve the new look appearance to the stadium.

Other upgrades approved in the budget include various maintenance items and replacements.

The most expensive capital projects are related to roof maintenance and repair, but other elements such as track beam rehabilitation, chiller replacement, and storm water ejector pumps are included in the budget.

Despite rising costs and inflation, the Brewers have taken initiative in preserving a great fan experience. They are doing this by staying up to date in things you see around the ballpark, hear, and taste.
