Ondrej Satoria made the memory of a lifetime with Team Czech Republic at the World Baseball Classic. A surprise qualifier for the WBC, Team Czech Republic is playing in Pool B, where Team Japan is the home outfit and favorite
Starting on Saturday for Team Czech Republic was Satoria, who plies his trade not as a pro ballplayer, but as a technician for an electric company. The highlight of his appearance came when he struck out MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani with a runner on second and one out in the bottom of the third inning.

Today he struck out 4 players from Japan whilst never throwing harder than 79.3mph.

Working with real movement on his offspeed pitches -- he did not crack 80 MPH on the radar gun -- the electrician finished his day's work having struck out four batters while allowing three runs on five hits over three frames.
For his part, Ohtani would rebound from his rare off moment with an RBI double later in the game as Team Japan pulled away for an end 10-2 victory.
