Former Cub Pedro Strop Is Now A Music Sensation And This Electric Music Video Is Proof
David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

In what’s quickly becoming a viral video, former Chicago Cubs pitcher Pedro Strop appears to have found his next profession.

MLB reporter Hector Gomez recently tweeted a snippet of the music video for Strop's song "Los Cuernos," and I’ll let you be the judge of it:

Talk about a sound that’ll get you dancing in the shower.

Most Cubs fans already knew that Strop wasn't afraid to break out the dance moves. If you've seen any of the bullpen footage from when the right-handed flamethrower celebrated Cubs home runs, then you already know that he’s the second coming of Michael Jackson. But trumpet playing? I would have never guessed it.

This past weekend at Cubs Convention, there were whispers of Strop being interested in returning to baseball — specifically to the Cubs. But could he be prepping for something even bigger? We’ve seen the epic rise of Shohei Ohtani and his two-way ability. And who can forget Bo Jackson's or Deion Sanders' two-sport prowess?

Is Strop prepping to become baseball’s first pitcher and music phenomenon?

Think about it: Strop hits the mound at Wrigley in the ninth to shut the door against the Cincinnati Reds in an 18-0 thrashing, throwing an immaculate inning to finish the game off. Later that night, "La Grasa" takes the stage at Grant Park for an EPIC performance to finish off Lollapalooza.

Our great-grandchildren would be talking about it years later to their children!

Move over Taylor Swift, somebody else’s concert tickets just became the hottest thing on the market, and his name is Pedro Strop.
