The Philadelphia Phillies are back at Citizens Bank Park tonight, looking to keep their momentum rolling against the Cincinnati Reds in the opener of a three-game series.

Philadelphia enters the matchup riding a four-game winning streak, having completely shut down the Pittsburgh Pirates over the weekend. The Phillies looked locked in on both sides of the ball, capping the sweep with consecutive 6-0 wins. Sunday’s finale was especially impressive as Zack Wheeler outdueled Paul Skenes with seven scoreless innings and eight strikeouts. Bryce Harper, meanwhile, launched his 12th homer of the season and continued his scorching stretch at the plate.

The Phillies have been a completely different team lately under interim manager Don Mattingly, going 15-4 during his run in charge. Still, they remain eight games behind the division-leading Atlanta Braves in the NL East race.

What Time Is The Phillies Game Today?

Phillies Starting Pitchers

Aaron Nola gets the ball for Philadelphia, looking to bounce back after a rough outing against Pittsburgh. The veteran right-hander enters with a 2-3 record and a 5.91 ERA across 45.2 innings this season. While the numbers haven’t looked like vintage Nola yet, the Phillies still trust their longtime ace to settle things down at home.

Cincinnati counters with Andrew Abbott, who’s been more consistent lately. Abbott owns a 3-2 record with a 4.21 ERA and has pitched at least five innings in four straight starts. The lefty allowed just one earned run in his last outing against Cleveland and will try to slow down a Phillies lineup that looks dangerous from top to bottom.
