Toronto Blue Jays sign top-end international shortstop

The Toronto Blue Jays had a busy Monday morning as they have signed multiple players, including top international Cristopher Polanco.

The Blue Jays recently traded for a some international bonus pool money to spend on Roki Sasaki, but after missing out on him, the team turned to Polanco, who they gave a sizeable deal.

The Blue Jays have signed shortstop Cristopher Polanco to a deal

The young shortstop went live on Instagram during the signing wearing a Blue Jays jersey and baseball cap to announce to his friends and fans that a deal was getting done.

Polanco seems to be an incredible baseball player and many believe he is one of the best players in the 2025 international class.

While it is almost impossible to see if a player this young will have a future in MLB, from how it looks right now, the Blue Jays got an incredible player in Polanco.

Hopefully, he will end up being the star shortstop that everyone believes he can be and will a massive part of the Blue Jays' future.
