Unruly fan at Mets game threatens man, family, pulls down pants
Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

A man attending Tuesday’s game between the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies at Citi Field was arrested after he allegedly threatened a man at the ballpark with his young family before dropping his pants and exposing himself in front of the children.

Police indicated Thursday that Richard Patrylo, 20, asked if he could use the man’s phone during the ninth inning. The man, 39, watching the game with his wife and 12-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter, declined.

When the father refused to oblige, Patrylo became unhinged.

“I will f–k up your entire family!” he allegedly yelled, then dropped his pants, exposing his genitals, `.

The son is believed to have recorded the entire incident on his phone.

Patrylo, of Long Island, was charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child and public lewdness. He was later released after being given a desk appearance ticket.

There of course have been no shortage of ugly incidents that have occurred at stadiums, arenas and ballparks over the years. While the police did not indicate one way or other, if this one at Citi Field is similar to all the others, alcohol was likely involved.
