Bobby Green claims Paddy Pimblett would have done better to not mention his name at all.

Green earned a unanimous decision win over Jim Miller at UFC 300 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday. He then called out Pimblett for the UFC’s rumored card in Manchester, England, in June.

“Paddy how dare you? You slimy, sugary little snake,” Green said in his post-fight interview. “How dare you say my name? I’m coming after you. July, I’m coming to your backyard, to your people and kick your a--.”

Green later explained that he was only returning Pimblett’s favor by calling out the Liverpudlian.

“Because he called me,” Green said during a post-fight media scrum. “He shouldn’t have said my name. He should have kept it to those other guys. This guy right here will find you. And when I line it up, when I get the sights right, you’re gonna pay dearly.”

Pimblett and Green have appeared to be on a collision course for a while now. Pimblett earned a controversial unanimous decision win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282 in December 2022, which many observers believed should have gone the other way. Gordon next faced Green in April 2023, with the bout ending in a no contest due to an accidental clash of heads. However, Green was praised for his showing against Gordon. Pimblett took issue with fans’ praise of Green after they had criticized “The Baddy” for his performance against Gordon. Pimblett went on to score a dominant decision win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 296 and called out Green or Grant Dawson next.

Green claims he doesn’t really watch the former Cage Warriors champ’s fights. What has caught Green’s attention the most is Pimblett’s victory dance celebration, and he isn’t amused by it.

“I don’t really watch Paddy like that to be honest. I’m going to keep it real,” Green said. “I watched the Jared fight because maybe I just happened to be there sitting at the damn TV table. But I don’t watch his fights, so I don’t really know much about the guy. I just saw him doing this little thing [mimics Pimblett’s victory dance]. Who does that? Who does that? I don’t know, that’s not cool to me but besides that I don’t pay attention to the guy.”
