Amanda Lemos
has designs on someday challenging for the Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s strawweight crown, and those ambitions now bring her face to face with one of the division’s most formidable and accomplished competitors.

The Marajo Brothers Team export will put her five-fight winning streak on the line when she tackles onetime champion Jessica Andrade in the UFC Fight Night 205 main event on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Lemos has compiled a 5-1 record since she joined the UFC roster in 2017. The former Jungle Fight titleholder last appeared at UFC Fight Night 199, where she was awarded a contentious split decision over Angela Hill on Dec. 18. Andrade, meanwhile, has lost three of her past five bouts. She last fought on Sept. 25, when she struck down Cynthia Calvillo with punches in the first round of their UFC 266 pairing.

In advance of the Lemos-Andrade showdown at 115 pounds, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

34: Years of age for Lemos, who was born on May 22, 1987 in Belem, Brazil.

7: Lemos wins by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 64% of her career total (11). Her list of victims includes Montserrat Ruiz, Livinha Souza and Mayra Cantuaria Rodrigues. Lemos holds two other wins by submission and two more by decision.

8: First-round finishes on the Lemos resume, with three of them having taken place inside the Octagon. She put Miranda Granger to sleep with a rear-naked choke in 3:43 at UFC Fight Night 165, cut down Souza with punches in 3:29 at UFC 259 and buried Ruiz with punches in 35 seconds at UFC on ESPN 26.

22: Rounds started by Lemos as a professional mixed martial artist. She has gone the distance on three different occasions and carries a 2-0-1 record in those bouts.

5: Knockdowns landed by Lemos as a UFC women’s strawweight, placing her first on the promotion’s all-time list at 115 pounds. She also leads in knockdowns per 15 minutes (1.98).
