Conor McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier in the second round of the pair’s match at UFC 257.

After claiming victory back in 2014 when they fought the first time around, McGregor lost in definitive fashion in the rematch. The entire bout and knockout video can be found here.

Given the way McGregor lost, namely the emphatic way in which it happened and the subsequent visuals it produced, many took to social media to post their favorite knockout memes.

Through the past year, McGregor has made way more headlines for things like million dollar sex watches and troubling allegations than fighting. It’s hard to stay at a championship level as a fighter when your focus isn’t 100 percent on the sport.

Will he learn his lesson and either invest in MMA the way he did earlier in his career? The answer to that question will determine how he ultimately bounces back from this embarrassing loss.
